Continue with #LestariforKids Program, BPR Lestari Bali Distributed 8 Tons of Rice to an Orphanage in Bali

Opening in 2019, BPR Lestari Bali (member of Lestari Group) continued the #MakeanImpact mission to the people of Bali through the #LestariforKids program. A total of 40 fostered orphanages received regular rice assistance from BPR Lestari Bali this February. 

A total of 8 tons of rice were distributed on Saturday, February 9, 2019. "We always involve staff and management to directly engage in this make an impact activity. The idea for this program came when in 2010, Mr. Alex P. Chandra, founder of BPR Lestari and Lestari Group was informed by a friend that there was one orphanage in Denpasar that was a shortage of rice. "After I checked, it turned out that the problem was that the supply of rice and other food had piled up during the holidays, but on normal days it was rare for donations to come in and they lacked food. I invite the team to create a program that focuses on providing routine rice assistance to children in the orphanage "said Alex when he met at his office in the Teuku Umar area of ​​Denpasar. 

The #LestariforKids program is held regularly every 2 months. "We hope that their needs are always fulfilled through this routine assistance," Wisnu added. When delivering rice, a message was delivered from Mr. Made, one of the administrators of the orphanage. "We thank BPR Lestari, we have received routine assistance. Frankly, we, the caretaker of the orphanage finds it very helpful, the food needs of the children here can be fulfilled, "said Made. 

At present, there are 6 BPR affiliates under the auspices of Lestari Group namely BPR Lestari Bali (Denpasar), BPR Lestari Jatim (Malang), BPR Lestari Jateng (Solo), BPR Lestari Jabar (Bekasi), BPR Lestari Banten (Tangerang), and BPR Lestari Jakarta (West Jakarta).
