Record Positive Trend, BPR Lestari Bali Booked 5.1 Trillion at The End of 2018

Throughout 2018, BPR Lestari Bali (member of Lestari Group) posted positive trends in business growth. At the end of 2018, BPR Lestari Bali successfully recorded assets of Rp. 5.13 Trillion grew 14.7% from the figure of Rp. 4.47 Trillion in 2017. "2018 is not an easy year for the banking world. Apart from the unstable economic conditions, the competition is getting tougher. But we managed to reach the asset growth target by the end of 2018 of 5.13 Trillion and control the 30.5% market share of BPR assets in Bali, "said Pribadi Budiono, Director of BPR Lestari.

The increase in BPR Lestari Bali's assets was greatly boosted by the performance of Third Party Funds (DPK), which until the end of December 2018, managed to record Rp. 3.76 Trillion, an increase of 18.7% compared to the end of 2017 amounting to Rp 3.17 Trillion. This achievement made BPR Lestari Bali dominate the market share of BPR DPK in Bali by 34.7%, up from last year's position of 33.8%. In terms of lending also grew by 13.6% from the figure of Rp. 2.56 Trillion in 2017 to Rp 2.92 Trillion at the end of 2018. This figure shows that BPR Lestari Bali controls the market share of BPR lending in Bali by 28.2%, increasing from 26.6% at the end of 2017. Besides credit growth, BPR Lestari Bali also managed to maintain its credit quality with an NPL (Non- Performing Loan) of 1.55% at the end of the year.

"Even though the pressure was quite difficult at the beginning of the year, we were able to grow well at the end of the year. We managed to balance the positive trends in terms of lending and collecting third party funds from the public. In addition, we also managed to keep our NPLs low, which means our credit quality is healthy," added Pribadi. In general, Lestari Group's assets have reached Rp. 5.64 Trillion. For now, there are 6 BPR affiliates under Lestari Group namely BPR Lestari Bali (Denpasar), BPR Lestari Jatim (Malang), BPR Lestari Jateng (Solo), BPR Lestari Jabar (Bekasi), BPR Lestari Banten (Tangerang) and BPR Lestari Jakarta (West Jakarta).

In 2019, BPR Lestari will continue to focus on developing businesses that are in line with the needs of the community amidst uncertain external conditions. One of the main weapons is to maximize existing technologies for the development of service infrastructure in accordance with customer needs. "Currently, we are preparing mobile banking. With this facility, we believe that customers will find it easier to conduct banking transactions anywhere. There are many conveniences that we offer through this application, "concluded Pribadi.
